My
husband and I decided that we hadn't had the opportunity
to take a vacation this summer due to our busy
schedules, among other things. It didn't take
long to think of a weekend in Big Bear as a solution.....
Big Bear is close to us (we live in San Diego),
and we love the mountains.
After
searching the Internet for a place to stay, we
came across Gayle's Resort Rentals website. We
enjoyed the ability to preview all the homes online,
and discovered a lakefront home called "The
Little's House." After an email, and a quick
followup conversation the following day, we were
booked. All was settled, and we looked forward
to our upcoming weekend get-a-way.
We
picked up the keys to our "weekend home"
late on Friday night (didn't leave San Diego until
after 7pm, arrived in Big Bear around 10pm) and
settled in for the night. The place was a large
3 bedroom home, with 2 1/2 bathrooms. It had 2
stories, and a wonderful kitchen and entertainment
area. Before settling down, we sat on the deck
to enjoy the crisp mountain air, and relaxed in
the Jacuzzi on the lower deck (we asked Gayle
to fire it up for us.) What a nice start!
After
a very comfortable sleep in the master bedroom,
we were pleasantly suprised to discover the wonderful
lakeview this home had. The deck proved perfect
for our bbq. We also had the pleasure of renting
a boat, and docking it up at the home dock. Needless
to say, our weekend went wonderful.
We
recommend Gayles Resort Rentals, and the Little's
Home to anyone looking to spent quality time in
a beautiful lakefront home. Thank you Big Bear!
