Bear High Class of '69 Reunion
Big Bear
High School's Class of 1969 is planning a 30 year
reunion. All graduates of Big Bear High School are
welcome, especially graduating classes of '68,'69,
and '70. Initial plans are to hold the reunion in
Big Bear Lake in September. The exact date and location
will be announced later. Graduates or those who know

"Self
Serve" Fuel for Aircraft
Directors
of Big Bear Airport District discussed the concept
of self-serve fuel at the facility during their meeting
March 4th. Aero Haven has expressed an interest in
handling the service with a fuel island dispenser.
Fuel tanks are in place but not presently equipped
for self-serve. Aircraft are currently fueled by truck
also handled by Aero Haven.

"Spruce
Up For Spring" campaign
Saturday, April
24th, will be the first day of the annual "Spruce Up
For Spring" campaign. It will be kicked off with a
barbecue lunch to all who attend.
From 10 a.m.
to 2 p.m. at the Bartlett Street Parking Lot, youngsters
can show off their artistic talents on an enormous trash
bin, KBHR will broadcast live, and businesses which want
to enter the cleanup contest can enter for a chance to win
awards and prizes!

State Route 18 road repair
State
Highway 18 from Snow Valley to the Big Bear Dam will undergo
repairs starting April 5th and is expected to be completed
by July 4th. During the scheduled road repairs one lane
will befor access to and from Big Bear with flagmen
and/or pilot cars. Expect delays in both directions of 10
minutes to half an hour. Work will be suspended on May
28 and July 2 the Fridays preceeding major long
holiday weekends of Memorial Day and Fourth of July. Highway
38 to and from Redlans will remainas an alternate
route to Big Bear from San Bernardino while construction
