The
Old County Inn, is centrally located in downtown
(if there is such a thing) Big Bear Lake, a couple
blocks east of the Big Bear Village, on Big Bear
Blvd. Previously this place looked semi rundown,
but they have recently completed a complete renovation.
With additions, re-decorations and an added outdoor
seating area, the Old Country Inn looks nice;
but looks are not why you should visit.... the
food is excellent.
The
Old County Inn has the best breakfast in town.
After working all night long on a database project,
I had the pleasure (once again) to visit for an
early morning session. I ordered the Greek Omelete
with a large freshly squeezed orange juice, and
my wife ordered the scrambled eggs topped with
cheese. All breakfasts come with potatoes, and
a choice of breads. Needless to say, we were not
disappointed.
